Wedding and Wondering

September 19, 2006

Here’s a question: Why don’t more people get married in the winter? Is it spring “fever” that makes couples want to wed during the warmer months? It seems like there are enough problems related to setting up the whole wedding gig that people would want to avoid the rush.

But then there’s the whole flower thing… and the bride probably not wanting to navigate the church steps in the ice… and the whole after-thing with photos in the rain or snow… although “The Knot” will tell you that photos of the bride and groom kissing under a nice big umbrella are the most romantic pics, like, ever. I agree on that one. It does suggest warmth and closeness and protection from the harsh weather of life.

Wow. I’m getting way too mushy in here.

Get more advice and some incredible wedding favors from The Knot. I’ve got to go get some tissue…
